The community of Rock Hill and Charlotte
The protest in Rock Hill was small with a couple of thousand people, but what amazed was the number of older people -- people in their 60S and 70's. I truly wish I had my business cards. I could have really made incredible connections. The signs were creative and spoke for people. The guy on the horse was impressive. The woman dressed in the Hand Maiden's custom was great. I didn't realize that was worn throughout the country. Really cool
Police presence was minimal. The crowd was very peaceful but made their presence known. My daughter and I enjoyed participating and want to do more.
